DESMOND

2016: College Project YR3

I was given the task to create an opening title sequence, film poster and an online presence for a short film titled ‘Desmond’. The film follows the central character, Desmond, as he struggles to reintegrate himself back into society upon release from prison. In my visual language I drew from the film’s themes of isolation, darkness and a sense of unknowing. I filmed a variety of organic moving elements that I integrated into my visual language to create an overall eerie atmosphere, hinting at particular scenes within the film.
